Cat Bertucci is the owner of Koneko Studios, a successful craft business that specializes in fiber arts, bath products and educational classes. She presents classes in crochet, knitting, soap making, amigurumi and several other topics at conventions, hobby stores, bookstores and children's learning groups. Cat has created custom crochet, knit and sewing patterns inspired by Japanese and American design elements. She has also designed and created original toys, clothing, jewelry and fashion accessories for sale in local markets and online.

William Bondurant has studied woodcarving under 3 local carvers who have taught Community Education classes in woodcarving. His special area of interest is in carving Welsh (Celtic) Love Spoons. He also does caricatures, primarily Santas and snowmen.

Judy Bruckner, CGA is a graduate at EKU with a Bachelor of Science, Business Management Emphasis. In 2005 she earned her Certification as Graphoanalyst from the International Graphoanalysis Society (IGAS), which is the only organization that trains and certifies Graphoanalysts. October 2007 Judy was awarded top honor in her field as "Graphoanalyst of the Year." She has been a Guest Lecturer throughout Kentucky, and has introduced hundreds to the field of Handwriting Analysis. Besides lectures, Judy conducts workshops and study groups to introduce the general public to basic handwriting analysis skills. She analyzes current and historical written samples to ascertain some of the personality attributes and authenticity. Her work has been published in several newspapers and broadcast on cable television. She is one of five active Graphoanalysts in the state of Kentucky. Member of IGAS since 2000. Associate Member of National Associates of Document Examiners (NADE) since 2009.

Anne Coleman is a professional artist who has been making baskets for over 20 years. She is invited to teach her unusual designs at seminars and conventions throughout the U.S. Anne combines many mediums with weaving and uses techniques developed from painting, pottery and leather work to create a unique life's work.

Tammy Cornett was trained under Pinky Pitaliya, a traditional Mehndi artist visiting from India. She has traveled Kentucky extensively tattooing at local festivals and events. She strives to maintain traditions of this ancient art while allowing her Appalachian heritage to guide her hand.

Pamela Cveticanin is owner of Fish Wisdom Beads in Berea and an exhibiting member of the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen.

Roger Dalton has been playing the banjo for about 50 years. He began teaching in college and since has taught at Cotton Music Center in Nashville, Pied Piper in Huntington, WV, and for various college, YMCA and school evening classes. He played banjo with 4 Pole Creek String Band in WV (mostly for square dances), and performed on 20 or so other instruments for various kid's programs and as a Street Musician at festivals from Nova Scotia to California.

Sarah Evans has been playing bridge for over 30 years. She currently works as an Assistant Director of Professional Development within the SESC Educational Cooperative at EKU. She is a very active member of the Rosebarn Theatre and resides in Richmond.

Lisa Foster's broadcasting and voice career spans 15 years and began in Sacramento, CA as the weekend traffic reporter on Rush Limbaugh's flagship station, KFBK in 1991. She handled traffic reporting duties for various Sacramento radio stations until 1992.

Lisa moved to Seattle, WA in 1992 and began reporting traffic for Metro Networks. She was the traffic reporter that Seattle commuters relied upon on more than 14 different Seattle market radio and TV stations. She started really learning the radio ropes on Pat Cashman's Morning Show on KING 1090 as his traffic reporter.

Lisa created more than 6 different "personas" on other stations in the early 90's, including "Kendall Elliott" on 107.7 the END, "Danielle Clark" on KJR, "Lisa Hunter" on 97.3 KBSG and "Christine Russell" on KISW. She teamed up with Cashman in 1996 to co-host his morning talk radio show on 100.7 the BUZZ and again on KOMO AM 1000. Most recently, she co-hosted morning drive's "The Mitch & Lisa Show" on KLSY's MIX 92.5.

Michael Garrett is an internationally respected editor. As credited in Mr. King's non-fiction book On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft, he served as Stephen King's first editor. In a professional capacity he also edited the works of such greats as Joyce Carol Oates, Harlan Ellison, Lawrence Block and many others for major publishers like Pocket Books and Kensington Publishing. Mr. Garrett is also an internationally published author and has been extensively published since 1979, in periodicals ranging from Twilight Zone magazine to his novel, Keeper, which sold out its initial printing and was optioned for a movie. His short story, "At the Count of Three," was also optioned as the pilot episode of a late night cable television series. His works have been published in England, Germany, Japan, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Spain, Finland and Russia, as well as in audio book format. George Gow has been painting for over 35 years, working with oil, gouache, acrylic and transparent watercolor. He has won many awards at local and state level art competitions and has been juried into national exhibitions. His paintings can be seen at the Kentucky Artisan Center and the Gallery in downtown Berea.

Barbara Green has over 30 years of cake decorating experience. She had an in-home business for 19 years and worked in two groceries for 3 years. She has been featured in 3 magazines and has taught for 28 years. Barbara is in the Wilton Teachers Hall of Fame. She has studied with many different teachers.

Meg Gunderson is an adjunct faculty at EKU in the Department of English, Theatre, and Women's Studies. She is an experienced GRE teacher.

Cheryl Juhasz is a Workforce Education Consultant for EKU's Department of Continuing Education and Outreach. She has been instructing Microsoft Office programs for EKU for almost ten years. With an 18-year career in banking, Cheryl's favorite class to instruct is Excel, but she is also proficient in Word and Access.

Jim Johns has been involved with dancing since the early 80's, beginning as a student with the Arthur Murray Dance Studio. Jim has provided dance instruction for EKU for many years.

Claudia Lesko was born and raised in Germany. She moved to the U.S. 14 years ago. She learned knitting from her aunt and mother at age 9. She has not stopped since. Claudia loves to knit socks, mittens, hats, sweaters, etc. to warm the world.

Mary McAllister & Rosemary Graves have been weaving together for over 15 years. They enjoy teaching and participating in juried craft shows. Mary is the Past President of the Kentucky Basket Association and they are both members of the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen.

Ellen McMahan is the Aquatics Director for EKU and has been training lifeguards since 1999.

Dwight McMullin has over 14 years of experience in investments and works for Edward Jones.

Ric Reeder has 10 years of health care Information Technology experience and is the owner of The Reeder Company. He helps small businesses with software training, custom software programming, process improvement, websites, search engine optimization, and website promotion. Jill Renfro has been weaving baskets for nine years and teaching workshops for 4 years. She has taught adults, 4-H programs, elementary school children and church youth group workshops.

Pat Rogers, RN, is a 1966 graduate of Good Samaritan School of Nursing. She became a certified Body Recall Beginning (Level 1) teacher in 2005 and then in 2007, she became certified as an Intermediate (Level 2) teacher. Pat is also certified in special populations and Smart Moves, a physical fitness program for children/youth.

Ann Smith is FTD masters designer certified and received her floriculture degree from EKU. She was a floral designer for Village Florist for 10 years.

Bernie Schweickart's background is that of a private piano instructor and professional performer in Louisville, KY. His career in music spans over 35 years in which he has taught, composed, recorded, and performed both in Louisville and Nashville, TN. He is the owner of Home Music Inc. and currently teaches about 40 private students a week, conducts piano workshops, and performs at various local clubs. He is also very active in using the new "high tech" aspects of music found in the new generation of electronic keyboards, computers and MIDI sequencing software.

James W. Stone holds a BSME from University of Kentucky, and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management. Drawing on his experience in developing and marketing new products for a major manufacturer, Jim now writes and lectures on how to manage your life and money. Dennis Sundberg is an instructor for Fred Hill's Golf Academy and has taught EKU Community Education golf classes for many years.

Joanna Thompson has a Bachelor's of Art in Art, and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Eastern Kentucky University. She is a member of the National Council on Education for the Ceramics Arts (NCECA).

Katherine Trent, Russian is her native language and she enjoys sharing her experiences and culture with other people.

Brenda Turner has been buying and selling on eBay for 11 years and then was taught by eBay University the techniques needed to teach "The Basics" and "Beyond the Basics" of selling an item on eBay. She became an Education Specialist and has taught the most students from all over the state of Kentucky. Mrs. Turner teaches most of her classes in a computer room where her students can get a hands-on experience. When you leave her class you will be a registered user on eBay, have your accounts set up, and go home with all the tools you will need to become a successful seller on eBay. C.B. Watson has taught tennis for Community Education for several years and has over 30 years of coaching experience.

Tim Webb is the former University Photographer at Eastern Kentucky University, who now spends his time working around the state as a Commercial Photographer, specializing in corporate, editorial and wedding photography. Nelle Williams is a retired school teacher who delights in passing along her experience and love of sewing and cooking to others.

Dr. Aihua Yin is the instructor for Chinese Culture and Langtructor uage at Asbury College. Born and raised in Beijing, China, she graduated from Beijing Medical University. After immigrating to the U.S. with her family twenty years ago, she earned a doctorate in Physiology from the University of Maryland at Baltimore and continued with post-doctoral training and teaching in NeuroAnatomy at the University of Kentucky. After eight years as a full-time stay at home mom, she returned to the academy to teach Chinese in 2007. Also, together with her husband, a doctor practicing medicine here in Richmond, she is a passionate advocate for promoting Chinese Herbal Medicine.
